About Shades of Cancer
We decided to blog about our cancers, after meeting in the chemo (infusion) room. We spent many hours talking to each other about what we had problems with, what worked, what didn't work, the ongoing challenges, and how cancer continues to change our lives.
Jess' Stage IIB Head-and-Neck (Tongue) Cancer had and continues to have challenges in treatment, surgeries, and learning to eat, drink, and talk.

Sylvia's Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a chronic cancer. Researchers keep finding new directions and new attack strategies for metastatic cancer. The trick is to find the one that works on me.
